Instructions:

1. The selection of welding wire for stainless steel welding should be based on the composition of the base metal being welded, using the same alloy system, and the composition of the welding wire should be as close (equal to or slightly higher) as possible to the composition of the base metal. Due to the combination of submerged arc welding wire and submerged arc flux, the different fluxes also determine the differences in the performance of the welded joint.
2. To prevent defects such as welding penetration, incomplete penetration, insufficient clearance, and deviation from the weld bead, sufficient preparation should be made before welding according to welding specifications, plate thickness, root gap of the weld, groove angle, groove and its assembly accuracy, and attention should be paid to the impact of uphill and downhill welding on penetration depth.
3. The impurities such as rust, oil stains, and moisture at the welding point of the base metal are the causes of defects such as pits, pores, cracks, or affecting mechanical properties. Therefore, they should be thoroughly removed before welding.
4. Insufficient welding current can cause defects such as poor weld formation, undercutting, incomplete penetration, slag inclusion, etc; Excessive welding current will cause deterioration of the physical and chemical properties and crack resistance of the welded joint, burn through, rough weld formation, and reduced slag removal. One sidedly pursuing efficiency while blindly increasing welding current and pursuing performance while extremely reducing welding specifications are extremely unfavorable.
5. The inclination direction of both the welding wire and the workpiece will affect the shape and penetration depth. If the welding wire is tilted forward or uphill, the penetration depth will be greater; When the welding wire is tilted back (or downhill), the melting depth is shallower and the melting width increases.
6. The temperature between the tracks is controlled at around 150 ℃
7. The solder flux must be baked at 300-350 ℃ for 2 hours before use.
