Instructions：

1. Base Metal Preparation
Before surfacing, the hardened layer on the base metal surface must be removed to prevent the occurrence of cracks and brittleness.
2. Electrode Baking
Electrodes shall be baked at 300–350°C for 1 hour prior to welding.
3. Preheating and Welding Parameters
Preheating: Depending on the workpiece size and base metal type, preheat to 300–600°C.
Welding: Adopt low current and short arc during welding.
4. Post-Weld Treatment
After welding, perform tempering at 600–700°C for 1 hour, followed by slow cooling. Alternatively, immediately place the workpiece in a dry sand box or grass ash for gradual cooling to avoid cracking.
